Forest – Magdalena Agata Kozicka

In series Forest, alternates square canvases divided into 10 x 10 grids of smaller squares with vertical ‘trunk’ tableaux crossed by a unique compositional ‘stripe.’ The arbitrariness and restraint of their structuring principle and the impulsive yet contained compositions within elude interpretation while multiplying possibilities for the imagination.
